When one thinks of the historical monuments that can be found along the Camino, the most normal thing is that churches, hermitages, cathedrals come to mind…
However, it is much less common to think, for example, of a Soviet cosmonaut's suit from the 60s:

Or in a reconstruction of a British trench from World War I.

However, both things can also be visited by the pilgrim. Specifically, in the town of Belorado (Burgos), in the Inocencio Bocanegra Radiocommunication Museum.

The museum, created by the Burgos industrialist of the same name, houses his collection of radios: from galena radios from the 20s, to military equipment used in the conflicts of the XNUMXth century (German, American, Soviet radios...).

In addition, given the relationship of the collection with the military world, the visitor can also find various objects in this area, from a tank M-60 Patton to a meticulous and detailed reconstruction of a British trench during World War I, the largest in Europe.

The museum is located in the old Belorado grain silo, which has been rehabilitated conserving and showing all the machinery that was used in its day.

To visit the museum it is necessary to make an appointment at the Belorado tourist office.
