The World Heritage Committee of the UNESCO approved yesterday to extend the denomination of the "Camino de Santiago" to the The French Way and Northern Spanish Ways.

El the Camino de Santiago, as such, it had already been inscribed on the World Heritage list in 1993; What UNESCO has done has been to include the following routes within the name of the Way: the coastal Way, the interior Way of the Basque Country and La Rioja, the Liébana Way and the Primitive Way.
