One of the most common starting points for pilgrims beginning the Camino de Santiago is Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port, in France. If you want to reach it from Spain, you can make a reservation using our taxi service. Our modern vehicles with up to 8 seats will take you to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port quickly and easily.
If for some reason you cannot use our service, the main alternative means of transport to get there from Spain is the bus that operates COUNTY (ALSA subsidiary) from Pamplona to Saint-Jean-Pied-de-Port from spring to autumn.
The question that many pilgrims ask themselves, when planning their Camino each year, is when the CONDA / ALSA bus service season begins. For 2017, as confirmed by ALSA, the dates of said service have already been published, and they are as follows:
- March 1: a daily bus, which leaves Pamplona at 14:30 p.m.
- April 12: two daily buses, at 14:30 p.m. and 17:30 p.m.
- June 1: three daily buses, at 10:00, 14:30 and 17:30.
All of them, as we mentioned, leave from the Pamplona bus station.
